Hello!
Well, Christmas has been and gone, and taken Boxing day along with it. I would bore you with a big long account of everything I got for Christmas and the details of the day, but I won't. So I'll just shorten it down a bit. :P
I had a nice Christmas this year, it was very cosy as there has been a lot of slush and snow recently, and it was only me, Tim, mum and dad in the house. Got several pressies I was really happy with, including a digital camera from me parents (expect pictures later), Donkey Konga (with bongos) for me Gamecube from Tim, Scar Tissue by Anthony Keidis from Jamie (thanks Jamesington! :D) and some nice art stuff, chocolate etc. So I was happy!
We've watched several films over the last few days (as would be expected) including Shaun of the Dead, Calender Girls, erm... yeah, a few others on telly that I really can't remember. Just as well really.
Going to Jamie's for new year, we'll stay for a few days, so I can see them and their new house! :D
Oh god, I'm sure I had much more to write about before...
Oh! Dad's old Music Master has had its new neck fitted, and its looking very nice. It's a lovely guitar to play, as the scale length is about an inch shorter than normal (perfect for my little handies :P) and its old colouring has faded to that strange green colour that you get on real vintage guitars. It has a mysterious story to it too! Let me tell you...

About 13 years ago, my mum and dad were moving out of their old house at the Hall of Heddle in Finstown. (still Orkney chaps.) They were chucking out all their old junk from the attic, and they had to be really ruthless since they had so much of it. Dad's first ever electric guitar had been residing in that attic, and reluctantly, my dad had to chuck it. They had a huge bonfire on which they were burning all their stuff, and dad remembers slinging the guitar into the flames.
A few years later, dad was looking though the attic in this house for a guitar case (the one the Music Master used to be in) for Tim, as he was going down to Edinbugh with his Squier. He came upon the case and lugged it down the stepladder from the loft, thinking "this is heavy..."
As he opened the case, he told me it was like a scene from a dracula movie - the Music Master was still in there.

Cool eh?

Anyhow, I'll get back to ya with some pictures soon.
Hope you had a good Christmas, whoever you are.
Ellx
